| PickleFest Arts & Crafts Street Fair Dillsburg, Pennsylvania Saturday, May 8, 2010 Ms. and Mr. Pickle wed during PickleFest on Saturday, May 8. Leah Burkey, York, sang during the ceremony. Even though a stiff wind had some PickleFest/Publick Tyme attendees feeling like they were headed for OZ, the day was called a success by organizers. Steve Voorhees, co-chairman of the event on behalf of Dillsburg Area Business Association, said he received lots of positive feedback from the people who attended. “We had a nice mix of crafters, community organizations and businesses this year,” said Voorhees, and he looks forward to seeing the event expand next year. Music by Leah Burkey and by the Blue Mountain Ramblers filled the breeze at the Maple Shade Barn. Magician Michael Thomas wowed the crowd, although even his magic cards were not immune to the blustery weather. |
